Why matching matters in a clinical uniform

Most hospitals and health services have a dress code, and many specify a colour by role. NSW Health, for example, uses navy for Registered Nurses, ceil blue for Enrolled Nurses, eggplant for midwives and hunter green for doctors, and other health services and private hospital groups run similar systems. When your top and pant are two slightly different shades of the "same" colour, it shows.

Buying the top and pant from the same range is the simplest way to get an exact match, because both pieces are made in the same fabric to the same colour standard. Colour names like "Navy" or "Ceil Blue" are consistent within a range but can vary between brands, which is why every set on our Scrub Sets page pairs a top and pant from the same range.

Which scrub set should you choose?

Different sizes for your top and pant

Plenty of people wear a different size top and pant, which is why pre-packed sets in a single size rarely fit well. On every set card you choose the top size and pant size separately, and the card only shows the sizes made in the colour you've picked. If you're between sizes, measure for each piece using our scrub sizing guide.

You can also order more than one of each piece on the same card, for example two tops and one pant, by changing the quantity next to each size.

Mixing colours, printed tops and other ranges

Each set card uses one colour for both pieces. If you'd like a contrast look, add the top in one colour with "No pant", switch colours, then add the pant with "No top".

Printed scrubs are sold as tops only. The usual approach is to pair a printed top with a solid pant in the print's base colour, such as a navy floral top with a navy Dickies EDS pant. Each printed top's product page shows matching solid pants under Complete the Look. Browse printed scrub tops.

We embroider in-house. To add your clinic logo, name or role title, tick "Add embroidery to my top" on the set card. The pant goes into your cart and the top opens so you can add your embroidery. Embroidery adds 5–7 business days, and embroidered items can't be returned.

Yes, on the top. Tick "Add embroidery to my top" on the set card. Embroidery adds 5–7 business days, and embroidered items can't be returned.

Can I return or exchange a scrub set?

Yes, within 30 days of your order date through our Returns Portal. Items must be unworn and unwashed with original tags and garment bags. Embroidered and altered items can't be returned, and clearance items are final sale.
