How women's scrubs are cut differently
Scrubs for women are drafted around a narrower shoulder, a defined waist and more room through the bust and hip, with princess seams and side vents so a top follows your body instead of hanging like a box. The pants have a shorter, contoured rise and extra room through the hip and seat. If a unisex top tents at the hem or pants pinch at the hip, a women's cut usually fixes both.

Women's scrubs fit guide
Petite scrub pants
Petite styles end in a P (5155P, 86106P). As a guide, the Wink W123 5155 pant has a 28.5-inch petite inseam against a 31-inch regular.
Tall scrub pants for women
Tall styles end in a T (5155T, WW110T) and add length so the hem doesn't creep up your ankle when you sit or crouch. On the W123 5155, the tall inseam is 33 inches. Petite and tall are available in selected styles only, so check the size dropdown.
Plus size and maternity scrubs
Sizes run from XXS to 5XL across our women's ranges. Browse plus size scrubs to see every extended-size style together, or shop maternity scrubs with stretch panels and belly bands on selected styles. Our maternity scrubs guide walks through what to wear in each trimester.
Waistbands: elastic, drawstring or rib-knit
Full elastic waists with an internal drawstring, like the W123 5155, flex as you move and stay adjustable. Rib-knit waistbands backed with elastic, found on Cherokee Workwear Professionals, sit flat and smooth under a top.
Women's jogger scrubs or straight leg
Women's jogger scrubs gather at a ribbed cuff, so hems stay clean and clear of the floor. Straight and tapered legs look more traditional and suit stricter dress codes. Compare them all in our guide to scrub pants in Australia.
Women's scrubs by colour
Our best-selling women's colours are navy, black, ceil blue, royal, teal, wine and hunter green. Many hospitals use colour to show role, so patients can tell an RN from an EN or AIN, but each state and provider sets its own codes. Check your health service's uniform policy before ordering, and see scrub colours and role codes for how it works.

Women's scrubs FAQ
What are the most comfortable scrubs for women?
Comfort usually comes down to stretch and softness. Wink W123 uses a soft microfibre polyester with 4-way stretch, and Cherokee Infinity is 95% polyester and 5% spandex with 4-way stretch. If you prefer the feel of cotton, Dickies EDS Signature is 55% cotton and 45% polyester.
Do you stock petite and tall scrub pants?
Yes, in selected styles. Petite pants carry a P at the end of the style code and tall pants a T. On the Wink W123 5155 pant, for example, the petite inseam is 28.5 inches, regular 31 inches and tall 33 inches. Check the size dropdown on each product, as not every colour comes in every length.
Is a mock wrap or V-neck scrub top better?
A mock wrap scrub top crosses at the front for a fitted, shaped look and often pairs with princess seams, like the Cherokee Infinity 2625A. A classic V-neck sits a little looser, layers easily over an underscrub and suits most body shapes. Choose a mock wrap for a tailored silhouette, or a V-neck for relaxed, easy movement.
Do you sell maternity scrubs?
Yes. Our maternity scrubs collection includes tops and pants designed to grow with you, with stretch side panels and a fold-over belly band on selected styles. Our maternity scrubs guide covers what to buy for each trimester. Call 1300 661 475 if you need help with sizing.
What size range do you carry in women's scrubs?
Women's scrubs run from XXS to 5XL, depending on the style, with petite and tall pant lengths in selected styles. Each brand cuts slightly differently, so check the size chart on the product page before ordering. Our plus size scrubs collection groups every extended-size style in one place.
What colour scrubs do nurses wear in Australia?
There is no single national colour. Many Australian health services assign scrub colours by role, such as registered nurse, enrolled nurse or assistant in nursing, and the rules vary between states and between public and private hospitals. Navy, black, ceil blue, royal, teal, wine and hunter green are our best sellers. Confirm your employer's uniform policy first.
Can I try scrubs on in store?
Yes. Our showroom is at 3/15 Page Street, Kunda Park QLD 4556, open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm AEST. We are closed on weekends. If you can't visit, call our team on 1300 661 475 for help with sizing and fit before you order online.
How much is shipping on women's scrubs?
Shipping is a flat $14.95 anywhere in Australia, no matter how many items are in your order. Embroidered items are made to order at our Sunshine Coast warehouse, so allow a little extra time for those. Call 1300 661 475 if you need help with a deadline.
